Bids received will be opened and publicly read aloud at that time and date.
Bidding documents and project specifications may be viewed free of charge or may be purchased from the Printer, ROLLER REPROGRAPHIC SERVICES, by visiting their website www.rollerplanroom.com, or by calling 330-549-0377. Bidders are responsible for reproduction of Bid Documents, orders can be picked up at Roller or can be shipped upon request (each Plan Holder is responsible for their own shipping fees).

Sealed proposals will be received by the City of Niles Auditor’s Office, in the City Hall, 34 West State Street, Ohio, until 10:00 a.m. on October 7, 2026, for the following project:

Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) Replacement Project

Each proposal shall contain the full name and address of every person, firm, or corporation interested in the same, and if a corporation, the name and address of the president and secretary, and shall comply with the ORC, including 735.06 and bid and performance sureties if applicable and also review Niles Codified Ordinance 138.01, if applicable. The City of Niles reserves the right to reject any or all bids.

Bidders must comply with the prevailing wage rates on Public Improvements in Trumbull County, as determined by the Bureau of Wage and Hour, Division of Labor and Worker Safety, Department of Commerce of the State of Ohio.

Sealed proposals will be received by the City of Niles Auditor’s Office, in City Hall, 34 West State Street, Niles, Ohio, until 10:00 a.m. on August 12, 2026, for the following project:

Each qualification shall contain the full name and address of every person, firm, or corporation interested in the same, and if a corporation, the name and address of the president. Qualifications will be based on section (D) of the Ohio Revised Code 153.65. The City reserves the right to reject any or all submissions.
The proposed project consists of constructing a new water main crossing beneath Mosquito Creek and US 422. Due to the presence of the creek, bridge, and roadway infrastructure, trenchless construction methods will be required. The anticipated approach includes Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) beneath Mosquito Creek and jack and casing (jack & bore) beneath US 422, as necessary. Engineering services will be needed to advance the project through design, permitting, and bidding, resulting in a complete and constructable package for implementation.
